KBEC Sports report

KBEC Sports and Ellis DownHome are excited to formally introduce you to the 2019 KBEC Sports All-Ellis County volleyball teams!

The KBEC Sports All-Ellis County volleyball teams, sponsored by Ellis DownHome and The Waxahachie Sun, were first announced on Dec. 2, 2019. Superlative honors were released live on-air Monday, Dec. 9, 2019. Those announcements — which included live and in-studio player and coach interviews — can be heard here: http://bit.ly/2sjE0rz.

The two teams are broken down into one middle blocker, setter, libero, utility player and two outside hitters. All honorees were selected based on postseason accolades, team success, input from coaches across Ellis County and firsthand observations by the KBEC Sports team. In total, 56 student-athletes were honored.

Each student-athlete will be presented with a commemorative All-Ellis County certificate, with framed awards being presented to the All-Ellis County first-team honorees. The individual superlative recipients have received a commemorative bobblehead award.
